Method of Assessment:
3 hour written exam focusing on all core modules.
Progression:
Successful completion of the Certificate means you are eligible to progress onto Diploma level.

• 2 Passes in GCE A level or a pass in ABE certificate stage or a related qualification accepted by ABE.
• Good knowledge of English required.

Diploma Part 1
Four compulsory papers:
• Economic Principles and their Application to Business
• Organisational Behaviour
• Financial Accounting
• Travel, Tourism and Hospitality
Diploma Part 2
Three compulsory papers:
• Marketing Policy, Planning and Communication
• Human Resource Management
• Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Operations Management
plus two of the following subjects:
• Managerial Accounting
• Principles of Business Law
• Systems Analysis and Design
Method of Assessment:
Written examinations.
Progression:
Successful completion of the Diploma means you are eligible to progress onto Advanced Diploma level.

• a pass in ABE Diploma stage or a related Degree or a qualification accepted by ABE
• Good knowledge of English required.

• International Travel, Tourism and Hospitality
• Tourism and the Environment
plus two of the following options:
• Managing in Organisations
• Strategic Marketing Management
• Strategic Human Resource Management for Business Organisation

Method of Assessment:
Written examinations.
Progression:
Provides a pathway for students who wish to proceed to further study of a Bachelor or MBA course.

OTHM is a membership body founded in London in 2001. The aim of OTHM is to support the people who work in the tourism and hospitality industry. People who wish to study for OTHM qualifications must follow the examination part of the membership track that enables to develop the skills essential to their progress within the industry:

OTHM Pre-Registration
Both the British High Commissions overseas and the new BIA, require stricter quality control of students applying for entry clearance to study in the UK. This therefore means you are now required to ‘Pre-register’ as an OTHM student prior to attending your visa interview or commencing your journey to the UK (for Port of Entry Clearance).
1. ALL students applying to study OTHM programmes in the UK are now required to complete the OTHM Pre-UK Entry Student Registration form (available on the OTHM website www.othm.org.uk).
2. A Non-refundable fee of £35.00 (Thirty five sterling pounds) cheques or drafts payable to OTHM Ltd is applicable with your application form.
3. Proper completion of the application form including:

- Date of Birth
- Nationality
- Home address [non UK]
