Aimed at:
The courses are specialist ‘Operational Areas’ which may normally be taken in addition to the Professional
Higher Diploma. It offers students the opportunity to study in greater depth specific aspects of tourism, travel and management.
Entry Requirements:
• All candidates need to be registered with OTHM either as a student [fee £60] or be a current OTHM Practitioner, Associate or Full Member.
• Existing OTHM students must be on Professional Certificate, Diploma or Higher Diploma level.
• OTHM students on Introductory must first pass their
Introductory Certificate to apply for examination entry for the new ‘Management Certificate’

Progression:
On successful completion of the specialist Management certificate and OTHM Higher Diploma students may pursue a career in the travel and hospitality industry or top up their qualification by applying for entry onto
the BA (Hons) in Travel and Tourism in selected Universities which include among others the BA (Hons) in
Tourism and Hospitality and London Southbank University.
