Aimed at:
Those who wish to maximise their potential in their careers by exploring new perspectives. It provides a
systematic understanding of knowledge relating to problems of management in different contexts, and
conceptual tools for analysing and evaluating complex problems in management in the private or public sector. Students are encouraged to adopt critical awareness of current qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
Entry Requirements:
(Pre-registration with the University of London external system is required)
Either:
• a second class honours degree, or
• the equivalent from a university or other institution acceptable to the university for this purpose, and
• English language requirement: an advanced level of ability to work in English is required. Applicants may
be required to pass or have passed in the last three levels a test of proficiency in English acceptable to the
University (IELTS overall score of 6.5 or over with a minimum of 6 in each Sub-test.
Course Structure:
5 core courses in:
• International Business Economics
• International Accounting and Finance
• International Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour
• Information Systems and Operations Management
• International Marketing and Strategy
Method of Assessment:
Written examinations.
Career Progression:
On successful completion of the course students will be awarded the Postgraduate Certificate in International Management. If they continue their studies, they must decide whether to follow:
• MSc route: students will proceed to the Postgraduate Diploma and then the MSc, or
• MBA route: students may proceed direct to the MBA (if your have 3 or more years relevant work experience)
