1.2.3 Students must also satisfy the immigration authorities of their ability to support themselves for the duration of their studies. This is not required to be monitored by the MCL but it is our responsibility to inform potential “visa-students” of this requirement.
1.3 Students are required to sign the Registration Form with full personal particulars including address and agreeing that fees are not refundable in any event except visa refusal.
If a student fails to arrive on or before the date of the first course day after their registration date, the following procedure will be put into action:

Tuition Fees:
Overseas students applying from abroad must pay all of their tuition fees prior to their enrolment in the College.
Deferral of Start Dates:
Students may request a deferral if their original UK Student Visa applicationis rejected. If the student has deferred their admissions more than once, the College reserves the right to deduct from their fees deposit a separate administration charges for each session, or students may be asked to pay extra administration charges.
Students who have successfully applied for a UK Student Visa will only be considered for a deferral of their start date if they have first completed their enrolment and cleared any outstanding tuition fees due. Successful UK Student Visa applicants will only be granted a deferral of their course in exceptional circumstances.
Tuition Fees Refund Policy: Unless explicitly stated otherwise in this section, overseas students will not be eligible for a refund nor to transfer any of their fees paid to the College once they have used the College’s facilities to obtain a UK Student Visa or other travel permit to study at MCL.
However, Students who require a UK Student Visa to enter or remain in the UK will be entitled to a refund of their paid tuition fees, less administrative charges of £100, if their UK Student Visa application is refused. A student may claim a refund of tuition fees paid, less administrative charges, if the Admissions Office receives a written request from the student for cancellation of admission at least two weeks prior to the commencement of classes. In the event that the Admissions Office does not receive this notice within the specified timeframe, a deduction from the refund will be made, equal to the tuition fees for one term of their chosen course.
If students have appealed against the visa refusal, refunds will not be processed until the appeal is heard. The original letter of refusal from the British High Commission or the Home Office, the original Confirmation of Acceptance documents and the original receipt of payment issued by the College must be attached to the refund request. If this request reaches the College after the commencement of the course, the full fees for one academic term will be deducted from the refund. After the commencement of any given term, the fees paid for that term are not refundable.
Tuition Fees Refund Policy
MCL has a policy to refund the tuition fee in full to the students in the following circumstances.
