General attendance policy:

§  All students must have minimum 80% average attendance

§  Classes are usually 8 hours a day and 2 days a week (i.e. 16 hrs per week excluding break-time)

§  Optional Subjects depend on availability

Lateness policy:

§  If student arrives 15 minutes after the class starts, student will be marked late

§  If student arrives 30 minutes after the class starts, student will be marked absent

Non-Attendance warnings:

§  On consistent absence of 3 times, first written warning will be issued

§  On consistent absence of 6 times, second written warning will be issued

§  On consistent absence of 10 times, the student will be suspended from the college and it will be reported to the UKBA on the 10^th day.

Medical/Sickness Policy:

§  A student cannot be on medical/sickness leave for more than 3 consecutive days without a medical certificate (evidence of sickness). Otherwise he/she will be marked absent.
