How to Apply

You must apply to enrol at MCL by completing the MCL application form.

The application form can be downloaded from the College website www.mcledu.org.uk or the College will send it to the students by post on request State clearly on the form the title of the course you propose to study and the month/year when you wish to commence.

The completed application form should be accompanied with:

• Three passport size photographs of the student
• Certified copies of relevant educational certificates
• Current Passport (or photocopy)
• Registration fee of £100.00 (non-refundable)

Students should send their completed application form and accompanied documents and payment to MCL by mail (or international courier service) or submit it personally to MCL.

International students may alternatively submit their application personally to the MCL representative
in their country of origin or living. The college will verify the submitted documents. On verification of the documents the college will issue the student with a provisional registration letter.

Letter of Acceptance

After processing the application, you will be sent a letter of acceptance which will state the College
is willing to offer you a place on the course subject to the payment of tuition fees in full or in two instalments, the conditions of which will be stated in the letter. For the convenience of overseas students, the letter include an estimate of the cost of maintenance per year so that foreign exchange may be obtained.

The tuition fee for the course for which a student has been accepted is stated in the enclosed Letter of Acceptance. He/she may remit the tuition fee by one of the following methods:
• Banker’s draft payable to “MCL” and posted to the College using a reliable postal or courier service.
• Direct transfer to the College bank account, the details of which will be provided.

On remittance being made by him/her, the College should promptly be informed by returning the completed “Fee Remittance Form” enclosed with the acceptance letter.

Only payments made directly to the college will be recognised. Visa letters will only be issued when payment has been cleared by the bank. Remittance charges are students’ responsibility.

Letter of Enrolment

Upon receipt of the full tuition fee or the first instalment of the fee, the College issues a letter of enrolment to overseas student stating that a place has been reserved on the course. Student already in the UK are issued a letter of enrolment only after the payment of their full tuition fee.

On receipt of a minimum of £1,200.00 (or the course fee if lower) the college will issue the full enrolment letter, which is required to apply for a visa. All the payments should be made in the form
of Bank Draft payable to ‘Metropolitan College of London’.
